About Jason
Jason brings over a decade of litigation experience to his work representing survivors of childhood sexual abuse — and an insider’s understanding of how defendants fight back.
Jason started his legal career in New York, handling complex commercial disputes and, later, defense-side litigation for insurers and corporate clients. Returning to his hometown of Los Angeles, he made a deliberate decision to work exclusively for individuals who had been harmed, joining plaintiffs’ firms where he spent years handling catastrophic personal injury and mass tort sexual abuse cases before joining Liakos Law. That defense experience informs his strategy, but advocating for victims is where he has built his career. He has taken cases from initial intake through trial, contributing to eight-figure and seven-figure results for his clients.
Today, Jason focuses his practice exclusively on representing survivors of childhood sexual abuse at Liakos Law. Drawing on years of experience in both defense and plaintiff work, he approaches each case with a clear-eyed understanding of how defendants and their insurers operate — and uses that understanding to fight for the best possible outcome for his clients. He is committed to guiding survivors through the legal process with honesty, patience, and compassion for the people behind the cases.
Jason earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from Occidental College in Los Angeles and his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School. He has been named a Southern California Rising Star by Super Lawyers Magazine every year from 2023 to 2026 and completed the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Trial Advocacy Program in 2025. He is a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA), the South Bay Bar Association (SBBA), the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA), and the American Association for Justice (AAJ). Jason is licensed to practice in California and New York, and in the United States District Courts for the Central District of California, the Southern District of New York, and the Eastern District of New York.
Outside of his practice, Jason enjoys learning Brazilian Portuguese, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, and taking road trips to coastal beach towns with his wife. He also cherishes family time, often spending weekends with his parents, siblings, nieces and nephews.
