About Shea
Shea Shaver is an investigator, litigation analyst, and Certified Trauma Support Specialist with more than two decades of experience supporting complex civil litigation. Her work focuses on cases involving sexual abuse, institutional misconduct, Title IX violations, sports-related abuse, and other claims involving systemic organizational failures.
Shea conducts trauma-informed investigations designed to support survivors and strengthen civil claims. She works closely with victims and witnesses to gather critical information, conducts background investigations, and helps develop the factual record used in civil litigation and arbitration. She also assists attorneys with case strategy, discovery, complaints, deposition preparation, trial preparation, and investigative reporting in matters involving institutional liability for abuse.
Her work is grounded in a survivor-centered approach that prioritizes sensitivity, trust, and careful documentation while helping legal teams build strong cases that hold institutions accountable.
Shea holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Technical Communication from Colorado State University and is a Certified Trauma Support Specialist through Trauma Institute International.
When she is not working, Shea enjoys spending time with her three children and their horses. She also loves hiking and being outdoors, where she can recharge and stay connected to nature.
